Milestones

Yesterday was a milestone.
I signed my new contract with The Young and The Restless on their 40th anniversary!

After 20 years at #1 and a new contract in hand, all I can think of is how grateful I am for all the milestones I have been able to share with the Young & The Restless family.

Special thanks to Bill and Lee Bell and the Bell family, Jill Faren Phelps and the entire producing team, Josh Griffith and the rest of the amazing writing team, not to mention the most and talented cast and crew anyone could ever hope for!

You all make going to work so much fun and so fulfilling!

Enjoy these behind the scenes pics from our celebration yesterday and happy anniversary Y&R!

  11. I am so overjoyed for you! As I scrolled through your pictures, the way your eyes light up in them all is a reminder that dreams really come true. You look so happy and like you're in such a good place in your life now, it's really inspirational. I'm not in a great place in my life right now but I hope to be as happy as you are one day by continuing to work really hard. Not to mention, you look absolutely stunning. Seriously though, you're gorgeous with or without makeup-- I hope you know that. xo

By the way, as much as I love Likey, I know you're having a wonderful time with this storyline so I'm really loving it. I just hope to see them live happily ever after in the end, because you know, y'all are just perfect together. Having said that, as long as you're on the show, I'll be watching no matter what happens.

Oh gosh, I can go on and on but then it'll become a letter! Hopefully I can meet you one day. Then we can grab our perfect coffees and chat about how wonderful you are, haha! Cheers to you and your new contract. I love you loads, thank you for being such an inspiration to me and so many others! xoxo

  12. So happy for you. I am glad you are finally on contract because you seem happy. Plus we get to see Lauren more. Uh oh though, I noticed Lauren's outfits seem to consist of black or leather since she has been meeting with Carmine. Great out fit, but black and leather might not be a good sign. I don't think I can take it if Lauren is still seeing Carmine in a month's time. Likey fans can only handle so much angst. LOL. Still, glad the new writers seem to value you so much even if they don't seem to be Likey fans.

    1. Thank you! And as for the clothes, i always felt Lauren would dress more edgy and in fashion as she owns the best department stores! Mary, our new costumer, shares my vision. The colors I wear are muted but different. Like the soft dove grey, blue Helmut Lang leather jacket I wore the other day with dark grey coated jeans. It's hard on camera to sometimes see the difference but it's there. Plus, Lauren is in a dark place and that is also reflected in her clothes. Jill, our EP, doesn't like us to be upstaged by the clothes, she is more interested in us as actors and that being the focus of the scene but loves elegance and beauty in our clothes which, I think Mary is doing an amazing job at.

  16. So happy that you will continue to have opportunities to share your talent on Y&R!You seem SO busy with all of your projects! The jewelry is awesome - so many different styles! I added a peace pendant this last visit. I imagine regular exercise helps you keep a balance. Do you meditate?

  17. Peppers + peanut butter? Jalapeno I guess? Going to try them for breakfast. Lu in Y&R. Very edge of my seat and all. I wasn't a big soap fan until my wife turned me on to your show.
